Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Pikzó (“Pikzó”, “we”, “us”) and cover the Pikzó mobile app and this website (together, the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

Pikzó is a sports competition and court booking platform operated from Tirana, Albania. You can reach us any time at info@pikzo.al.

2. What the service does

Pikzó lets clubs and organisers run tournaments — divisions, groups, draws and results — publish court availability and take bookings, and lets players enter events, follow their draw and see their ranking. Clubs and organisers are responsible for their own events, courts, prices and house rules; Pikzó provides the software they run them on.

3. Your account

• You need an account to enter tournaments or book courts. You must give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your login to yourself.
• One account per person. Accounts may not be sold, shared or transferred.
• You must be at least 16 years old to hold your own account. Younger players may take part through a parent or guardian, or through their club.

4. Court bookings

A booking made through Pikzó is a request to the club until the club confirms it — some clubs confirm automatically, others approve each request. The club sets its own prices, cancellation window and no-show policy, and payment for court time is between you and the club unless the club states otherwise in the app.

• Cancel as early as you can so the slot can go back to other players.
• Repeated no-shows may lead a club to restrict your bookings, or lead us to suspend your account.

5. Tournaments, results and rankings

Entries, seeding, draws, walkovers and disputes are decided by the organiser of each event under its own regulations. Results entered by an organiser feed the rankings, and rankings recalculate as results come in. We may correct or remove results and recalculate rankings where an error, a duplicate entry or manipulation is found.

6. Content you post

You keep ownership of what you upload — your photo, team name, club details and similar. By uploading it you give us a licence to host, display and distribute it inside the service for the purpose of running your events and profile. You confirm you have the right to upload it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not post content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, deceptive or infringing.
• Do not impersonate another player, club, organiser or federation.
• Do not enter false results, manipulate rankings, or make bookings you do not intend to use.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and remove content that does.

8. Fees

Downloading and using the Pikzó app is free for players. Entry fees, court fees and club subscriptions are set by the club or organiser, and any fees we charge a club or organiser are agreed separately with them. Where a payment is taken through the service, the refund terms shown at the time of that payment apply.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided as it is. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn, and maintenance or a fault may interrupt access. We do not guarantee that an event, a court slot or a ranking will always be free of error.

10. Liability

Pikzó is not liable for the conduct of clubs, organisers or other players, for injury during play, for the condition of a venue, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Albanian law.

11. Your data

We process personal data to run your account, your bookings and your events — what is collected and why is set out in the privacy policy. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time; the data deletion request page explains how that works and what happens to your results.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken, where required by law, or where we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive — liability, for example — continue to apply after your account is closed.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Albania, and the courts of Tirana have jurisdiction over any dispute we cannot resolve between us first.
